What is CGI?
CGI or Compact Graphite Iron cylinder heads are made with a completely different molecular structure than standard gray iron cylinder heads. CGI has tightly connected graphite molecules that are short and thick in shape. CGI material is hugely beneficial in high heat and high stress applications considering it is 75% stronger and has a much higher thermal conductivity than traditional gray iron.

Cryo Treated

Have you heard of our cryo treated cylinder heads? The Cryogenic process is where you bring the material down to approximately -310 degrees Fahrenheit. You keep it at that temperature to remove residual stress, and then you bring it back to room temperature, followed by a small heat treatment process. The end result of the process is a stronger C-15 cylinder head that is less prone to cracking. As well as a cylinder head with stronger thermal properties, and the stress in material is reduced.

O-Ringed Cylinder Head

Our O-Ringed head is designed to help reduce head gasket failures in high compression acert engines, as well as higher horsepower engines. We install a file-fit stainless ring into the head, leaving ten thousandths protruding out of the head. The ring sits directly behind the fire ring in the head gasket, making it virtually impossible to blow a head gasket between cylinders.
